03/07/2009

ACTIVE Profile has been commissioned to deliver the
Energy Innovation Centre’s public relations strategy.
The 12-month contract - one of a number of recent wins for the growing strategic marketing and PR company – will see the team promote
EIC’s facilities to inventors, SMEs and global energy players.
The
Energy Innovation Centre, based in Capenhurst, Chester, was founded in 2008 and connects individual inventors and small businesses with the large UK energy companies. The centre, which is already working with companies from as far afield as Nebraska and Toronto, aims to create 30 new companies and 100 new jobs by 2013.
Anna Heyes, Director of Active Profile, based in Rodney Street, Liverpool, said: “We are delighted to be working with the
Energy Innovation Centre. It is a unique facility which is helping individuals and SMEs bring the next generation of products and technologies to the energy market and contributing to tackling climate change.
EIC offers a bespoke service and already boasts a fantastic network of partner organisations. We look forward to helping
EIC build on its successes.”
Denise Massey, Director of the
Energy Innovation Centre, said: “Active Profile demonstrated an enthusiasm for this challenging project and a clear understanding of the complexities of our vision moving forward.
Public Relations is a crucial element of our programme and we’re looking forward to working with the
Active Profile team to ensure it is a success.”
