Award winning journalist Caroline Innes has joined the Active Profile team.

THE 31-year-old from Manchester was appointed as Public Relations (PR) manager in January, following more than five years of working in newspapers.

Caroline’s last role was as Health reporter for the Liverpool Echo, the country’s largest regional daily title.

She has also worked as a multi-media reporter for the Liverpool Daily Post, ITN and Granada and the Lancashire Evening Telegraph and is a regular contributor to a number of Nationals.

Caroline said: “It is great to have joined the Active Profile team.

“As a former reporter I felt I couldn’t just join any PR team and for a long time looked for a company that firstly took time to understand their client’s aims and objectives and secondly understands how the media works.

“Everything Active Profile do is to help their client’s get where they want to be in business.

“They don’t do PR for PR’s sake. They get real tangible results that their clients can measure.

“That is why I joined Active Profile. Together we are creating PR campaigns that deliver real and measurable return on investment for our clients.”

Active Profile managing director Anna Heyes said: “Caroline is an award winning journalist with a wealth of experience and we are delighted to have her onboard.

“She is using her senior and specialist journalistic expertise from some of the North West’s leading regional daily newspapers to deliver highly effective public relations campaigns for Active Profile clients.

“She has an unrivalled network of contacts – both in Liverpool and nationally – that she can call upon to generate positive PR and marketing results.

“There is no person better placed to take our clients message to the community.

“It is such an exciting time for Active Profile and it is a real boost to have someone with Caroline’s skills, knowledge and enthusiasm along for the ride.”
