Employer’s Liability under the spotlight

Leading barristers from Atlantic Chambers will host an Employer's Liability Seminar in Liverpool this month.
The CPD-accredited event, which is open to solicitors and others working in this field, will take place at Liverpool’s Hilton Hotel on 21 July 2011.
Personal injury specialists from the Cook Street based Chambers will be exploring the effects of recent decisions and developments in employer liability claims, and the principals of interim payments.
There will also be a section dedicated to the scope and application of the Work at Height Regulations 2005, looking at the provisions they replace and recent authority in which they have been applied.
In addition guest speaker Philip Collier, a consulting forensic engineer and partner at Collier Knight Watts LLP, will deliver a presentation entitled ‘Engineering Expert Witnesses - Friend or Foe’.
The seminar takes place between 1pm and 5pm on Thursday 21 July 21 and will attract 3 CPD points.
