Overview

Active Profile partnered with GPO Retro in 2013 to help the Salford based company mature and evolve their brand. With a well-known and iconic trademark and a growing popularity among high street and independent stockists, GPO Retro was a brand with real potential.

From its first months as a fledging B2B brand, we have supported GPO in its graduation to an international consumer and trade brand. We quickly became GPO’s de facto marketing team, leading on the delivery of their communications strategy, PR and social media achieving regular national press and high levels of engagement online.

Embracing the fusion of retro style with modern technology, we developed a brand following branding session GPO helping them articulate their brand offer and tagline “Retro Inspired Design”.

We created a buzz around the launch of GPO’s first record player and maintained interest in the wake of a vinyl revival with new product launches.

We continue to maintain and manage GPO’s social media accounts: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram as a medium to connect with consumers as well as their growing list of stockists.
