NEW TENANTS WELCOMED
In the first nine months of the partnership, Active Profile created and delivered a PR strategy to raise awareness of what Baltic Creative had achieved to date, highlighting new Board members and supporting the team as it began its ambitious expansion into new parts of the Liverpool City Region. As the company continued to grow and contemplate more geographical locations, the team needed support to remind partners, influencers, and key media of its journey so far and what it has planned. However, Baltic Creative and its tenants faced one of their most difficult challenges when the Covid-19 pandemic hit in March 2020. Active Profile has supported the team as it continues to manage its way through some very testing times. With a revised plan in place, we are working closely to continue to ride the storm and come out of it in an even stronger position.
“Active Profile's support for Baltic Creative has been fantastic. Throughout our campaign to move into the wider LCR, Active Profile has provided valuable insight and has acted as a key catalyst in connecting us the wider [creative and digital] communities. “They've provided excellent advice, expertise and guidance in order to successfully and productively promote our story with various media outlets across a wide area. We've received constant support and communication with our account manager, Amy and we've always felt that we've been in safe hands.”
Baltic Creative CIC is arguably one of the most ground breaking regeneration success stories that we have seen over the last decade in Liverpool, and as such, it has never had a problem telling its own story but it was time to amplify the message. We developed a PR strategy that would appeal to local, national, and international audiences to not only raise profile, but also to continue to attract occupiers to its developments.
Coverage was secured in key local titles including the Liverpool Echo and the Southport Champion (a target growth area), as well as sector specialist titles including Prolific North, Business Cloud and Property Week which covered a double-page-spread in its print edition telling the Baltic Creative growth story.
Although PR activity was paused at the start of lockdown, we picked it up again in early summer to communicate Baltic Creative’s confidence in the sector and its ability to bounce-back. Over the following two-month period, ten new tenants let space at Baltic Creative buildings despite the challenges of Covid-19.
