The project

GVA’s Liverpool team was looking for a PR agency with its ear to the ground in the region to raise the profiles of individuals and active sectors. We needed to get to know team members quickly to understand their roles and identify which hot topics they’d be most suited to talk about in the media.

Objectives

  • - To raise the profile of specialists within the team through thought leadership
  • - To position GVA alongside key partners and senior figures in the city region
  • - To align GVA's regional PR strategy with its national objectives

The solution

Meaningful campaigns were created around topics like waterfront regeneration, Grade A office stock, inspiring workspaces and the Northern Powerhouse, while commentary opps were targeted around key regional, national and international platforms and events.

We continue to identify new opportunities for GVA's Liverpool team to provide comment and to form partnerships with influential organisations, creating joined-up thinking around engaging topics. We've also been appointed by GVA in Manchester and Leeds with a new 'Northern' remit to increase reach and impact.

The result

We’ve secured targeted coverage for GVA in key national and regional media titles and increased regional activity on its social media channels.

We’ve also helped deliver a joined-up approach to a Northern GVA PR offering.
