The project

People's perceptions of Salford had not always been positive, with big corporates often favouring locations on the other side of the River Irwell. Our challenge was to tell New Bailey’s story, helping to change perceptions whilst staying true to Salford's soul.

Objectives

  • - To raise the profile of New Bailey as an exciting, new destination for business and leisure
  • - To position New Bailey as an attractive option for occupiers
  • - To use media relations and events to create a completely new 'place' in the city

"The team’s experience combines a blend of strategic input, a wealth of experience in promoting property schemes and a hands-on approach. The New Bailey launch event at MIPIM was excellently managed and the feedback has been incredible."

The solution

We developed key messaging and a strategic, fast-paced plan of PR activity to promote the scheme, with a toolkit

including press releases, interviews with key journalists, social media campaigns and an active events calendar for business professionals.

The result

We generated over 200 pieces of coverage in major regional and national property and business publications, including The Manchester Evening News, The Times, Property Week and Estates Gazette. We also attracted over 500 attendees from the property and business community to New Bailey events.

The scheme has been shortlisted for 23 awards and has won eight awards to date, including the Insider North West Property Awards and the North West heat of RICS Awards.
