CASE STUDY BOOK

The project

Norris Green and the former Boot Estate was one of Liverpool’s most deprived neighbourhoods. The City Council and investment partner Sigma Capital and home-builder Countryside had big plans to transform the area and its reputation. However, after a number of false starts, the residents were becoming increasingly disengaged, crime in the area being reported by media was also up, making owning a home there less attractive. Hearts and minds needed to be won to accelerate the transformation taking place.

Objectives

  • - To raise the profile of Sigma's 10-year Norris Green project
  • - To raise the profile of Sigma as a leading name in PRS

The solution

Our strategy for Norris Green started with getting on-the-ground insights from stakeholders and the community – we needed to see things through their eyes. We coordinated the delivery and roll out of the brand.

We worked with partners to agree the creative direction and delivered a proactive PR and events strategy to support each phase of the development, including consultation with local Councillors and stakeholders like schools and community centres.

The result

Each phase of new homes for sale sold out immediately and PRS rental opportunities were met months before launch. The schemes were featured in Property Week, Estates Gazette, The Guardian and we also produced a full case study of the 10-year projects that documents every phase and reaction.

We have now been appointed by Sigma to raise the profile of its new Simple Life PRS brand, which is being rolled out throughout the UK.
